AI Tech Doctor is built to help you understand your device's health. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your privacy.

What We Collect

Device Diagnostic Data

When you run a check-up, the app reads information about your device's current state: internet connectivity and speed, Wi-Fi connection quality, storage usage, battery level and charging state, and memory and processor load.

This data is used to generate your health score and recommendations. Diagnostic data stays on your device by default unless you choose to enable cloud sync.

AI Chat Conversations

When you use the AI assistant, your messages are sent to our backend to generate a response. We send your message text (up to 1,000 characters per message), recent conversation history, a summary of your latest scan results (if available), and your chosen explanation style.

We do not store your conversation content on our servers after the response is generated.

Account Data

If you create an account, we store your email address, authentication method, and subscription status.

Usage Data

We track your daily AI message usage count on your device to enforce fair-use limits (5 messages/day on Free, 50 messages/day on Pro). This data is stored locally and resets daily.

Usage Analytics

We may collect anonymous usage events to improve the app, such as feature usage and AI helpfulness ratings. We do not link analytics to your personal identity.

What We Do Not Collect

• Photos, videos, or media files
• Contacts or messages
• Browsing history
• Location data (except temporarily for Wi-Fi permission on iOS)
• Passwords or financial data
• The content of your AI conversations after the response is delivered

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and optional cloud sync
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI chat responses
• Apple App Store — subscription payments and billing

We do not sell your data to anyone.

AI Disclaimer

AI responses are automated guidance, not professional technical support. The AI may occasionally provide incomplete or imprecise advice. Always verify suggestions before making significant changes to your device.

Your Rights

• Delete your scan history at any time from Settings
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us
• Disable cloud sync and notifications at any time in Settings
• Use the app without creating an account
