Account deletion is permanent. This action cannot be undone. All your data — including your account, subscription records, scan history, and preferences — will be permanently removed.
How to Delete Your Account
1 Delete from within the app (recommended)
- Open AI Tech Doctor on your device
- Go to the Account screen (tap the person icon in Settings or the bottom tab bar)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears
Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.
2 Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, send an email to support@aitechdoctor.com from the email address associated with your account. Include "Delete My Account" in the subject line.
We will process your request and confirm deletion within 48 hours.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account credentials and profile
- Subscription records (note: active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through App Store Settings to stop billing)
- Any cloud-synced scan history and diagnostics
- Usage data and preferences
- Chat feedback metadata
What Does NOT Get Deleted
- Active App Store subscriptions — You must cancel your subscription separately in iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions before or after deleting your account. Apple manages billing independently.
- Locally stored data — Diagnostic scans stored on your device are not cloud-synced. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
- Anonymised analytics — Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data is retained.
After Deletion
Once your account is deleted, you can continue using AI Tech Doctor as a guest (without an account). If you want to use account features again, you can create a new account at any time.
